The Changing Face of Fashion

There has been a lot of media focused on the impact of fashion bloggers and their contribution to the fashion industry. Many say that bloggers are in fact more influential than magazines due to the fact that they have the ability to reach out to a wider audience and also, because their blogs are free to read. Fashion bloggers have begun popping up everywhere with people starting blogging at the meek age of 13. Previously fashion has been something that was only available to the “elite” with outfits being valued not by the personal expression and combination of the clothing and accessories used, but rather by the quantity of designer brands featuring in a single outfit.

However, with the encouragement of bloggers, the industry has thrived, opening up new ways to dress using a range of items, both designer and non. For many this is great news, it means that stylish and well put together options are now available for a larger range of people of all ages. It allows a berth for many to experiment and for different styles to grow and gain popularity. Others however, are not pleased about the progression.
