Comms and Technology are continuing to work
hard to produce a brand new website in time for
Christmas. Here they are sorting through the many
articles on the current website! There’s still time to
let us know what you think of our current website.

Celebrating
success

Homes and
Communities Kent
celebrated smashing
their 2014/15 targets in
style! The team held a
variety of presentations
sharing their work
a chievements, and held
some fun team building
games in between.
There was even a fun photo booth to get a team
picture taken! They’re now set to ‘Make the Boat
Go Faster’ in 2015/16!

Real Ale Gala

Our Extra Care
scheme Regis Gate, in
Sittingbourne, held its
very first Real Ale Gala
on Saturday 1 August.
Christine Brown, Claire
Brooks and Sharon
Glover organised the day which was supported by
residents. The event raised over £200 which will go
towards future activities at the scheme.

Michelle Richards,
Housing Officer in
London, recently
featured in the BBC
documentary Council House Crackdown. The
programme featured an unlawful sub-letting
case she’d investigated.Michelle was extremely
confident and did a fantastic job representing
AmicusHorizon. The documentary highlighted the
significant impact tenancy fraud has on social
landlords and the public purse. Michelle said: “I’m
glad the case I jointly investigated with Lambeth
Council was covered. This was our first ever
prosecution under the Prevention of Social Housing
Fraud Act 2013.”
