HOME GROUP AND NIGHT PRAYER
Home Group - starting 25th September
Home Groups provide an opportunity to meet together to pray, to discuss
the Bible and to ask questions.
Any question is permitted (though we can't always guarantee an answer!)
We will meet on Wednesdays (unless there's a particular all-church
activity) at 8pm at The Vicarage, 98a Roose Road.
We'll begin with tea/coffee and biscuits/cake; then, we'll share prayer
requests, discuss a Bible passage, and pray, ending by 9.30pm. You don't
have to read aloud from the Bible or pray aloud if you don't want to. We'll
have a few “taster sessions” using passages from Ephesians, then we'll
start on Luke's Gospel in time for Advent. The Home Group s open to
anyone and will provide an opportunity to be encouraged as we explore
God’s Word together in an informal atmosphere.
Night Prayer - starting 4th September
On the first Wednesday of each month, we will meet at The Vicarage
for Compline / Night Prayer. This is an act of worship featuring Bible
readings, set prayers and responses. There will be time within this for
silent prayer and open prayer. You don't have to have come to any of the
Home Group meetings to join us for Night Prayer. This replaces the Home
Group on the first Wednesday of each month and, again, anyone is
welcome to attend.
