ST. LUKE’S MOTHERS’ UNION
report written by Doreen Finch
On 9th May, our speaker was Jean Grainger ; Jean played us some lovely
music and songs ending with ’Always There’ which reminded us that God
is always there in the good times and in bad. It was a lovely and uplifting
afternoon.
On 13th May, some of us enjoyed the Deanery Outing to Newcastle. It was
a long journey but we enjoyed a lovely lunch and then afternoon tea in
the cathedral; this was followed by a service and a tour of Newcastle
Cathedral.
Our speaker on 6th June was going to have been Linda Cronin but
obviously she can’t be with us; therefore, we are going to have a poetry
afternoon instead.
