ST. LUKE’S WOMENS’ FELLOWSHIP
report written by Pat Hughes
During Lent, St. Luke’s Womens’ Fellowship have joined with St. Luke’s
Mother’s Union on a Thursday afternoon in St. George’s Hall for talks by
Revd Gary Cregeen and Revd Linda Cronin.
The course has been ‘Disciples Together’ when we talked about Maturity
of Faith, Prayer and Worship, Quality of Relationships, Community
Engagement and Evangelism.
We were joined each week members of St. George’s and St. Aidan’s
congregations.
The talks were interesting and informative and enjoyed by all present. We
thank Linda and Gary for leading us in these talks which enabled us all to
join in the discussions.
During April we look forward to welcoming Jill Jepson and Walter Cooper
as guest speakers - they are both very interesting people and I know we
will have very enjoyable visits from them both.

ST. GEORGE’S
DAY PRAYER
Father God
Give us the courage of St George …
To stand up for what is right and
good.
Give us the compassion of St
George … To help those in need.
Give us the faith of St George …
To lead a life that is pleasing to
you.
For we ask these things in the
name of Jesus Christ.
Amen
