Team Talk Who I am in Christ Chapter Seven- Your Destiny Finds You “The old has passed. The new has come.” (2 Corinthians 5:17) When you live with purpose and know who you are, where you are heading, it changes the course of your life. You have found your compass. You have found a sense of belonging. You have found your forever home. The old has passed. The new has come. With God all things are possible. God is a good and loving God. He is an amazing Father. He will never fail you. His plans for your life are far greater than yours could ever be. He has set before you blessings and curses, life and death. By accepting His Son into your life, you share in an awesome inheritance. You are a child of God and you are accepted, loved, chosen and forgiven. All the promises God ever made to Abraham, belong to you through Ch rist Jesus. You only need to affirm your faith in Him. The world may tell you who you are not or what you should be, but to God, you are perfect. Just where you are. No matters what happens, He loves you. The Holy Spirit helps us find truth, so that we can be set free. God wants you to know the truth about your rebirth and about your destiny. Listen to Him. Let His Word wash you, His Spirit fill you and change you so you take your rightful place in His Kingdom. John 3:16 -“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 1 John 4:9-11 – “In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent His only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” Jeremiah 29:11 –” For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Romans 8:35-39 -” Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Know that NOTHING can separate you from the love of God that is revealed to us in Christ Jesus our Lord. Nothing. Know that you are loved. Know that you were worth dying for. The End. Extract from Who I am in Christ by Stella Ashworth 26
