Team Talk Who I am in Christ Chapter Three - Remembering who you are Ephesians 1:4 - “Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes” John 3:16 - “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” Ephesians 2:4-5 – “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved...” God doesn’t make mistakes. He didn’t make a mistake when He created you. No matter what you have done or been through, God still loves you and wants you to try again. Try one more time. If you fall down. It’s okay, you will hear Him keep on telling you. He is a loving Father. How do you remember who you are if you have lost your way? How do you turn your thoughts around? How do you believe in yourself when there is no one around you to tell you that you are loved. That we are good enough. That you are accepted. That you can achieve anything you set your heart to. Let me tell you the truth today. God believes in you. God has faith in you. That is why He still hasn’t given up on you. He knows you can do all things…. through Christ who strengthens you. I have learned that since God loves me, I can love myself too. I have to make sure that I pay attention to what goes on inside of me. I have to make sure that I turn to Him whenever I feel lost or need that pat on the back. God tells you that you are loved. Chosen. Forgiven. Accepted. You need to believe His Word. The love of God changes you. Heals you and restores you. God’s love makes you new. And it awakens your soul. Once you know who you are in Christ, you will never the same. You won’t search for love or acceptance in the world or from others. God has you covered with more than enough of everything you can possibility need or want. "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." Romans 12:2 Extract from Who I am in Christ By Stella Ashworth 19
