If you think there are some things you could write more clearly, you can write
the letter again. When you are sure that the content is clear, read the letter for a
last time paying attention to spelling and punctuation.
Task 10
a. Exchange letters with your partner. Read your partner’s letter and examine
how he/she uses language to express his/her meaning. If there are things you do
not understand ask your partner for clarification.
b. This is a homework activity. Imagine you are John and you have just received
Costas’ letter. Read it and write a reply letter to him thanking him for his
information and telling him that you’ll meet him soon.
