28. Online education
versus Traditional
education
Reflection:
When I got asked to decide
between
online
or
traditional education, it was
a little hard to choose one,
because both of them have
their good points.
We
have
traditional
education that creates a
deeper connection between
students and teachers and
in the case of some
subjects, is better when the
teacher is in front of the
student to explain the
topic, like in the case of
Mathematics; its topics can
be
really
hard
to
understand when you’re
doing it by yourself, but
when the teacher is step by
step explaining it to you, it
doesn’t seem so hard to it.
But not everything is good
with traditional education,
sometimes, because of
time, teachers don’t get to
develop the full contents of
the topic; On the contrary
online education gives you
a wider learning field
because you have more
resources like internet,
online books that maybe
are
not
in
physical
anymore, and the content
can be at once (the
information)
and
the
quizzes are easier to do.
But there’s this lack of
communication sometimes
between
students
and
teachers, and maybe not all
students will understand
the topic only by seeing the
information, some of them
need the explanation.
