9. Teaching Children
Reflection:
Teaching children has
always said to be one of the
most difficult challenges
that teachers have, but
more for the ones who
simply don’t have the
passion to be teachers.
Children are very difficult
to handle more when it
comes to a class, they can
be easily distracted, they
laugh, play, and is because
they have a lot of energy.
But at the same time they
can be very intelligent and
pay attention to the class.
Even children can feel the
pression for getting a good
score, and if they don’t
make it they feel sad and
disappointed
with
themselves to the point
that they sometimes don’t
want to go to classes.
This not only depends on
the children but also the
teacher; someone who
teaches to children has to
be clever when it comes to
giving them rewards and
the necessary tools for
them to feel motivated to
get a good score.
The girl who went to our
classroom to show us how a
class is given to children
told us that is not always
easy to teach to children,
and at the beginning she
wanted to quit being a
teacher, but then with the
time she fell in love with
giving classes. One of her
methodologies is to give
reward to students by let
them play with an online
monster once they have
good grades, like this, they
learn at the same time that
they’re having fun.
