Spring Gathering
Spring Gathering 2023 honored Saint David ’ s Director of Finance and Administration Jack Sproule on the occasion of his retirement . Jessica Pagan paid tribute to her supervisor of 13 years ( See related article , page 4 ), and Dr . O ’ Halloran read aloud a poem he had penned , “ His Heart ’ s in These Hallways ,” based on Scottish poet Robert Burns ’ “ My Heart ’ s in the Highlands .” ( See box ) Faculty members Bradford Hardie ( guitar ) and David May ( keyboard ) topped off the evening sharing their musical talent in honor of Jack .
The evening also featured members of the Class of 1973 who celebrated their 50th Reunion , and recognized staff members RoseMarie Alfieri and Stanley Livingston for their 25 years of service .
