Disney photographers are everywhere so take advantage of the memory maker by including it in your package. Your photos are automatically linked to your Disney account through your magic band on your wrist. It allows you to have unlimited downloads of all photos and videos. It also ensures the whole family can be in your photos, not excluding mum or dad behind the camera.
DOWNLOAD THE APP
Make sure to download the Disney app onto your phone, this allows you to access your itinerary, Fastpass rides, dining reservations, photos, videos, parade and firework times. It also allows you to add more Fastpass rides when you’ve used your existing ones. Disney has complimentary wifi within the parks and hotels, so you don’t have to worry about international data charges while using the app.

ACCOMMODATION
Staying on site allows you easy walking access to both theme parks (Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure) and the new water park (Volcano Bay). My family chooses to stay in a club level room as all our meals and drinks are included in the room cost. This alone saves an absolute fortune. We do not need to purchase any drinks or food from the theme parks because we either choose to take complimentary snacks with us from the hotel or walk back to the club room for a bite to eat.
UNIVERSAL TICKETS
Purchase your tickets to Universal Studios before leaving Australia as you can access a 14-day ticket which isn’t available once in the States. The price of a 14-day ticket works out cheaper than purchasing a three-day ticket once you are in Orlando. When staying on site and with your theme park ticket, you have early park admission before the general public.
