Disney World & Universal Studios

OK, confessions. I have a Disney addiction. It was triggered as a child when my father took me to Disneyland in Los Angeles. Disney created a powerful feeling of enjoyment and with this, an urge to repeat those feelings over and over again. Now, I get to experience this with my own family. Luckily, I have a fun loving husband and fabulous children who are eager to participate in my Disney addiction.

I have been to Disneyland in Hong Kong once and Disneyland in Los Angeles twice. I am currently planning my third trip to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. My friends think I’m crazy, especially when I begin making plans for our next trip while I’m still holidaying at Disney! There is something so magical about the place and if anywhere makes you feel like you are well and truly on holidays, its Disney World.

From the moment you are collected at the airport on the Magical Express coach and check in to your Disney themed room, you are in a different world. The atmosphere, music, characters, rides, parades, restaurants, shows and shopping at Disney, is just, so much fun! It is truly a destination for all ages. My obsession kicked up a notch on our most recent visit when I made sure we had matching Disney t-shirts, matching Disney luggage and we no longer needed a map around the theme parks.

When we travel to Orlando, we like to spend a fortnight at Disney World and a fortnight at Universal Studios. For most, this would be far too long, however, for my family, this type of extreme theme parking is how we roll.
