Accommodation
If your employer does not provide
accommodation, bear the following points in
mind:
1. Start your search by first driving through
neighbourhoods that you like.
2. Prepare your deposit and agency fees of at
least 5% of the annual rent.
3. Negotiate as much as possible, some
landlords may take more than one cheque.
4. Check the property at peak hour. Traffic can
cause you to spend hours in the car over
relatively short distances.
5. Try to meet the neighbours before you
commit and sign the lease.
