If someone is in danger and you have done everything you can, there are other ways to receive help...

If a student is acting out of character, for example: appears to be sad or anxious, or having a hard time completing tasks

-Refer them to the school counselor

If you notice a student being bullied in school-Contact the school counselor, the principal, or the Department of Education

If you notice the school inadequately dealing with harassment- Contact the School Superintendent or the Department of Education

If one of your students is in immediate danger or there has been a crime committed - Call 911

If a student is feeling hopeless, or helpless and perhaps contemplating suicide- Contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK
