Travel No trip to Cape Town would be complete without a visit to Cape Point, Simons Town, Boulders Beach and of course, seal watching and sampling the delicious fish and chips at Hout Bay, so we did all of that on Day 4. It was exhilarating for us, and of course a mix of exciting and tiring for the kids. A top tip when travelling with small children, is to spend more time in each location and allow plenty of time for rest in between tours. On Day 5 we returned to the airport to board another flight to Livingstone Zambia. The 2hour and 50mins flight appeared a lot shorter to me, and before I knew it, we were in Livingstone. Livingstone is a town in south-western Zambia, a few kilometres from the Zambezi River and the border with Zimbabwe. It’s a hub for visitors to the Victoria Falls and that was one of our main reasons for visiting, as well as our planned one-day safari trip to the Chobe National Park in Botswana, which I will talk about later in this article. If you must cross off only one of the world’s natural wonders from your list, make it the Victoria Falls Zambia. After a night of resting and looking at photos from Cape Town, in our wonderful self Catering apartment in Livingstone (The Asante Apartments), we were up bright and early and on our way to the falls by 9:30am the following morning. As we entered the grounds of the Victoria Falls, we were greeted by the resident baboons. A word of caution, do not try to interact with the
