My time in Taipei was good, it was an
enjoyable city break. Most memorable
points for me were visiting a few
markets and walking around the city.
However, I’d like to go back to
experience other sides of the country.
Locals advised me to visit the south
of the country where it is said that the
food is much better. It would also be
good to visit the countryside and take
in some scenes from life further away
from the city. Another visit is required.
Try to book accommodation
that is close to a metro stop.
Get a metro card and start

Some hot spring baths
only allow certain styles of
swimwear (or none at all).
Free walking tours are a great
way to learn about the city
and meet other travellers.
If you’re there during
the monsoon season, be
prepared.
