The requirements and changes to curriculum, parent and staff meetings, and standardized testing set forth by legislatures, school districts and Ministries around the world can often place added pressure on teachers. In some schools, teachers’ salaries and annual increments are based on a system that includes educational level, experience and student performance outcomes.
