Mario Ferreira, Head of Education
Sales at Kit for Kids said "We are
excited to be working with Gratnells
in this marketplace. They have
already established themselves in
the region as an innovator of storage
solutions and the new Maker family
of products will complement the
current range to create a learning
environment where children can
flourish."
"As a company, we are passionate
about helping children of all ages
to develop their skills and go on
to become successful adults, with
promising career opportunities. Our
partnership with Gratnells has given
us the right tools for the job, and we
are confident of the benefits it will
bring to the region."
Kit for Kids Education stocks a wide
range of Gratnells products and
can support other local stockists
with quick supply and competitive
pricing. Other partners in this
new venture are also very close to
Gratnells and already share many
common marketing activities. These
companies include EDX Education
and Polydron, which both provide
innovative products and materials for
students to enjoy hands-on learning
and develop essential functional and
motor skills.
Kit for Kids Education will be
focusing on Gratnells Callero and
Maker products, providing flexible
storage and modular classroom
equipment which allows schools to
create inspiring classroom layouts
and provide ready resource access
for self-directed learning. The skills
gained through practical work and
creative exercises provide essential
links to many academic studies
as well as providing an innovative
and constructive outlet for student
creativity while developing useful
life-long skills. Gratnells trays will also
be available for those schools wishing
to add to their stock or create new
storage facilities.
One of Kit for Kids Education's existing
customers is Al Ain English Speaking
School, a privately-owned school
in the UAE set up by the Balfour
Group in 1978. The school caters for
all age groups, from Nursery, through
Primary to Secondary and has already
purchased a range of Gratnells Maker
products to meet the needs of its
varied audience. Alongside Gratnells, Kit for Kids
Education also stocks it’s own brand.
With a vast range of product choice,
the educational carpets and soft
seating range prove consistently
popular, allowing well-known school
brands, such as GEMS to create bright,
inspiring, fun-filled environments in
which children love to learn.
A spokesman for Al Ain said, "We want
children to develop their distinctive
talents in a structured and caring
environment so that they are happy
and feel themselves to be a valued
part of the school community." *June report by the Knowledge and
