Some may say what works in schools in Finland will
“never” work in the UAE. We tend to disagree on that.
Learning is universal and so are the triggers for student
motivation and engagement. Over the past two years we
have seen a number of Arabic teachers in the UAE use
Finnish gamification means to make learning Arabic
more fun using the seppo platform.
Short quizzes are fun and break the ice, but they don’t
usually include game mechanics that truly engage the
learners. Adding elements of gamification into your
teaching enables creative problem solving techniques
and better ways to implement theory into practice.

EXPO MIDDLE EAST
We are happy to announce the first ever Finnish Education Expo- Middle East to
be held on the eve of GESS Dubai 2019.
The focus will be on sharing real life learnings and discussing how Finnish
solutions can work in a local UAE context.
