Chassie Selouane

hassie Selouane is a passionate
supporter
of
professional
development. She takes the
opportunity to learn more
and to share with her colleagues very
seriously; you might have bumped into
her at an education event without even
knowing.
Chassie is Native American, born
and raised near the Cherokee Indian
Reservation in the Great Smoky
Mountains of North Carolina.
She discovered Islam and became
Muslim at the age of 25 and is the only
Muslim in her birth family. She credits
the Hadith with encouraging her to
continue studying.
