CONNECT. DEVELOP. EMPOWER.
If you count all your assets, you always show a profit.
- Robert Quillen
It is with deep appreciation that we
acknowledge the tremendous support
that we have had as we approach the
end of this school year. It has been a
profitable journey for us and we are happy
that you, our valued readers, have been
with us each step of the way. We sincerely
thank you for your continued support.
Over the months, we have met with
many of you, listened to your comments
and made improvements based on
your suggestions. We have welcomed a
number of wonderful contributors and
guest writers who have joined our Teach
UAE Magazine writers’ family. Each issue
our writers share with teachers here in the
UAE and the MENA region, their expertise
in the different subject areas, as well as,
on specific topics that help educators to
develop in their personal lives.
You, our readers, distinguished writers
and guest contributors, students, parents,
the extended school community and the
education sector; you are all valuable to
us. You are our assets and the motivation
that keep us going.
As we bid farewell to this school year, we
bring you articles that help you to end on
a high note. For those educators leaving
the region this year we bring you articles,
which we hope will help you to prepare
for success in your new school, home or
country.

Our Featured School, Dubai College,
which has enjoyed over thirty-eight years
of existence and is ranked at the top,
among the best schools in Dubai, opens
its doors to give us all a glimpse into how
they prepare their students to earn places
at top universities worldwide.
As Ramadan approaches, we explore
the topics that will help you to understand
and develop a deep respect for the holy
month. We share with you advice on how
to interact with your students inside the
classroom, as well as important things you
should be aware of outside the school
environment during this time.
Summer promises to be an exciting time
in which we reconnect
