The development of inclusion and support offered to SEND children at Al Dhafra has coincided with a huge increase in the professional development opportunities available to support this area . “ Our school has benefitted from specialised support from FilBrit Training Centre , which has provided extensive CPD to all SEND team members . Likewise , there has been a huge focus across the Emirates on inclusion and wellbeing through conferences and collaborative learning communities , enabling schools to network and share best practices . Abu Dhabi Education and Knowledge ( ADEK ) has assigned expert practitioners in the field of SEND , who have visited schools for review meetings , to audit the SEND provision in place whilst also acting as expert consultants , allowing us to identify ways in which we can further develop our practices .
