It is the summer term of 2022 and the final issue of volume 9 of Teach Middle East Magazine . This is a fantastic milestone . Nine years of serving the education community in the Middle East . What a great privilege !
Like the quote above says , we kept going when it became hard ; we did not stop or give up . We kept true to our mission of connecting , developing and empowering educators across the Middle East and beyond .
We learn to be resilient every day from the thousands of educators who keep going in the face of great difficulties and changes in policies and procedures at the drop of a hat . We learn grit from the many educators who have had to endure personal difficulties while still showing up day after day and giving their students the best of themselves . You are our heroes . You are the people who keep us going , issue after issue . We hope that the content we bring you in each issue of Teach Middle East Magazine helps make your work just that bit easier and provides you with some of the inspiration you need to keep going .
This issue is no exception ; it is packed with great articles written by educators from the Middle East and beyond . The current issue is mainly focused on special educational needs and literacy . The articles have been hand-selected to provide educators with great tools to improve their schools ' special educational needs and literacy provisions .
As we look forward to volume 10 of the magazine in September , with the back to school issue , I invite you , our loyal readers , to send us your ideas . What would you like us to add ,
