Star International School Mirdif is a bespoke British curriculum school that is situated in the heart of Mirdif . The school is known for being a community-oriented and researchdriven institution . Since the school opened its doors back in 2008 , it has continuously worked to enhance its efforts in delivering quality education at affordable prices offered by some of the most qualified British teachers in the UAE .
The school has a student body of 700 students with 70 nationalities . There are 65 teachers and 105 school staff , all under one roof , from Foundation Stage all through to Year 9 , with additional Years to be added soon ! Over the past few years , the staff has worked hard to ensure that the learning methodologies , curricula and programmes are on par with the latest in education research .
In keeping with its quest to be at the cutting edge , the school has recently introduced the advanced sciencebased state-of-the-art " STEAM " curriculum and AI-driven " Century Tech " platform to enhance the students ' overall learning experience . Embedding A Strong Digital Strategy
Star Mirdif began its Digital Revolution in August of 2019 , 18 months ago . Previously the digital strategy was highlighted as an area for development in the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau ( DSIB ) reports and needed significant investment and a clear vision for how to integrate technology to support teaching and learning .
