Dear Friends, Dreams do come true.
A decade ago, we launched Teach For Armenia with one bold goal: to ensure every child, regardless of geography or circumstance, receives an excellent education. What started as a vision has grown into a nationwide movement, reaching tens of thousands of students and transforming what’ s possible in public education.
Over the years, we’ ve faced challenges that tested us, and breakthroughs that redefined us. Through it all, one truth remained clear: lasting change begins with people. The teacher who dares to reimagine learning. The student who begins to believe. The policymaker who listens. The partner who says yes.
Today, we stand at an inflection point. In 2024, our programs touched the lives of over 60,000 students, nearly 1 in 5 children in Armenia. Through our Teacher Leadership Program alone, we ' ve placed hundreds of Teacher-Leaders in rural and border communities, launched new systems-level initiatives like Seroond and the Public Policy Lab, and created the infrastructure needed to scale our work.
As we look to the future, we ' re preparing for our next chapter: The Armenia Education Initiative( AEI), a unified platform that brings together Teach For Armenia and all of our programs under one strategic vision. AEI will deepen our impact in classrooms, expand alumni leadership across sectors, and shape policies that build a resilient, equitable education system for the long term.
