Civil Initiative for the Right to Education ( CIRE ) 8 was founded in December 2022 in response to the ongoing violations of children ’ s educational rights due to the Artsakh blockade . Comprising both Armenian and international educational organizations , CIRE has spearheaded global advocacy efforts , engaging with prominent entities such as the United Nations , the International Committee of the Red Cross , the European Union , and foreign embassies in Armenia . Collaboration with ministries emerged as a critical action to address these challenges effectively .
CIRE , currently known as 405 Educational Alliance ' Development Foundation , continues to serve as a crucial platform for cooperation , focusing on actionable initiatives . Member organizations have formalized their collaboration by establishing an educational alliance in Armenia . This alliance is committed to advocating for equal access to quality education and ensuring every citizen ’ s fundamental right to education .
