ALUMNI LEADERSHIP PATHWAYS
Our Alumni Leadership Pathways empower Teacher-Leaders who have completed our two-year Teacher Leadership Program . As influential figures in their fields , Alumni-Ambassadors continue to advocate for educational justice beyond their classroom experiences . These pathways address critical gaps in Armenia ’ s education system while engaging and developing our Alumni-Ambassadors and current Teacher-Leaders . Key components include the Káits Social Innovation Incubator , a full-stage incubator for Alumni-Ambassadors ; the 6-month Public Policy Lab Fellowship , targeting systemic challenges ; and scholarships for pursuing PhDs in advanced education .
SCHOOL LEADERSHIP : SEROOND
Seroond is our flagship initiative for school transformation and leadership development . The program focuses on whole- school transformation , Social-Emotional Learning , Change-Based Learning , and community engagement . In-service teachers receive intensive coaching and professional development , while Alumni-Ambassadors gain the experience needed to become school principals . We ’ ve developed 10 leadership modules using Google Classroom , complete with instructional materials , activities , and assignments to enhance principal development .
In 2023 , Seroond expanded to schools in the Ararat and Lori regions , reaching over 100 teachers and 650 students and their families . A significant achievement was the approval of an Experimental School Model by the Ministry of Education , Science , Culture and Sport of Armenia . This model , based on Seroond ’ s transformative results , will be implemented in three turnaround schools . By the end of the pilot phase , we will submit the results for broader implementation across Armenia .
