END-OF-YEAR SMALL TEAM RETREATS ( JUNE 10-17 , 2023 )
At the end of the school year , five Leadership Development Managers hosted small team retreats for their Teacher- Leaders , achieving a 92 % attendance rate . These retreats provided a productive space for reflecting and consolidating learnings from the year . For three groups of second-year Teacher-Leaders , this marked their final gathering as part of the Teacher Leadership Program , offering a chance to reflect on their two-year journey and prepare for their transition to Alumni-Ambassadors . For first-year Teacher-Leaders , the retreat served as an opportunity to summarize their key takeaways from the first year of the Program and gear up for the upcoming year .
SOUTHERN REGIONAL RETREATS
The Southern Region ’ s Spring Regional Retreat was held on March 26 , 2023 , at the Armenian State Pedagogical University ( ASPU ) in Yerevan . About 90 % of the 81 Teacher-Leaders were in attendance . According to our post-retreat survey , 90 % of participants agreed or strongly agreed that the retreat was effective .
The Fall Southern Regional Retreat occurred on October 22 , 2023 , at the Russian-Armenian University ( RAU ) in Yerevan , with 90 % participation from the 62 Teacher-Leaders . Post-retreat surveys revealed that 96 % of attendees agreed or strongly agreed that the retreat was effective , and 86 % felt it supported their professional growth . The retreat topics were carefully selected based on the identified needs of Teacher-Leaders , focusing primarily on promoting well-being and sharing pedagogical content . The retreat was structured , featuring parallel sessions , interactive workshops , and team-building activities .
