INNOVATION ACCELERATOR
Educational excellence , collective leadership , and resilience extend beyond the classroom . Recognizing this , our Teacher Leadership Program empowers students , Teacher-Leaders , and Alumni Ambassadors to advance our mission for educational justice through Innovation Projects . These projects enable participants to apply Change-Based Learning — our signature approach to fostering leadership and innovative thinking — to address real challenges in their communities .
STUDENT-LED INNOVATION PROJECTS
In the first year of the Teacher Leadership Program , students are encouraged to develop and execute Student-Led Innovation Projects under the mentorship of their Teacher-Leaders . These projects provide students with the opportunity to delve deeper into their academic subjects , broaden their knowledge , and address real-world issues they identify in their schools or communities .
In 2023 , a total of 67 Student-Led Innovation Projects were launched by the eighth generation of Teacher-Leaders across Armenia . Of these , 30 projects were funded by Teach For Armenia through a competitive proposal process . The remaining projects received training and support to secure independent funding or adapt their implementation strategies . We are proud to report that all projects met their objectives and made a significant impact on both students and their communities .
