Scan to Learn More : Teach For Armenia Documentary Series
Road Initiative to launch # ArtsakhTalks . This series of virtual forums extended our advocacy by providing a direct platform for our school communities in Artsakh to share their experiences with a global audience . These discussions humanized the impact of the blockade , fostering a deeper understanding and garnering increased international support .
In response to the crisis , we adjusted our communication strategies to highlight the severe impact on education , framing it as an " Emergency in Education ." We shared distressing stories of displacement and the challenges faced by Artsakh ’ s educational community , calling for immediate action . Simultaneously , we collaborated with local media and leveraged our digital platforms to widely disseminate these stories , aiming to raise awareness , rally support , and address the urgent educational needs of the affected children .
TEACH FOR ARMENIA DOCUMENTARY SERIES
In collaboration with Bars Media , an independent film production company based in Yerevan , Teach For Armenia has produced an inspiring documentary series showcasing the lives and impact of 10 Teacher-Leaders across Armenia and Artsakh . This 11-part series , broadcast on Armenian Public Television , captures a diverse range of themes from daily village life to the realities of life on the border .
The series offers an intimate look into the lives of Teacher-Leaders , from the rigorous selection process and transformative experiences at the Teacher Leadership Academy to their roles in rural communities as part of our twoyear Program . The eleventh episode highlights the dedication of Teach For Armenia ’ s staff , who work alongside Teacher-Leaders to advance educational equity nationwide . By reaching viewers both in Armenia and the diaspora , the docuseries illuminates the untapped potential and beauty of rural Armenia , conveying a message of hope and collective resilience . It invites audiences to witness the impactful journeys of our Teacher-Leaders and join in their mission to transform education and empower a new generation of professionals .
