FUNDRAISING

Our work is only possible thanks to our generous community of supporters from around the world , and the Private Partnerships Team leads our fundraising and related efforts , with the support of the Public Partnerships Team . Despite various global and domestic economic challenges in 2022 , both the Public and Private Partnerships teams secured a total of $ 5,160,651 in funding through our Armenia-based Teach For Armenia Educational Foundation and our U . S . -based 501 ( c )( 3 ) partner organization , Friends of Teach For Armenia . Funding for our work comes from a combination of individuals , corporations , public foundations , and private foundations .
ARMENIA ’ S PROMISE SUPPORTERS DINNER
Armenia ’ s Promise Forum was followed by the Armenia ’ s Promise Supporters Dinner as previously stated , and it is through the forum and dinner that we soft launched a comprehensive multiyear fundraising campaign to support our work . We have already secured over half a million dollars in commitments through the campaign . Both the Forum and the Dinner were made possible by UCLA and Dr . Eric Esrailian , who is a supporter of Teach For Armenia , philanthropist , producer , and physician at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine .
NOTABLE CONTRIBUTIONS
In 2022 , Teach For Armenia secured two grants through the global Teach For All network : $ 158,500 through the Future of Education Fund for our Seroond schools , and € 20,000 through the Go Teach Partnership with Deutsche Post DHL ( DPDHL ). The Future of Education Fund advances practices that strengthen education systems and develop students as leaders , while the Go Teach Partnership prepares students for the future of work . We also secured an anonymous commitment of $ 671,750 to expand the Seroond network over the next five years .
