OVERVIEW
Teach For Armenia aims to achieve system-wide change by fostering collective leadership at every level of the nation , from the classroom up to the highest levels of leadership in Armenia and Artsakh . We invest in various programs and initiatives designed to support the growth and development of our Teacher-Leaders as professionals and advocates for educational equity before , during , and after their successful completion of the Teacher Leadership Program .
Teacher Leadership Academy
The Teacher Leadership Academy is our seven week-long summer training program for newly recruited Teacher-Leaders . Our eighth annual Academy kicked off in June 2022 , and out of 1,800 applications , 68 successfully completed the program , and were placed in rural schools to teach for two years .
The Academy took place in a hybrid format , with both in-person and virtual activities , which included application of training in our Virtual Student Leadership Camp with 450 student participants from across Armenia & Artsakh .
