provided Wi-Fi to our first Seroond school in the Takhta community of Dilijan . This year , we also engaged supporters in new and creative ways . For example , Flora Wiegers , a friend of Teach For Armenia and Brain Longevity Specialist certified by the Alzheimer ’ s Research and Prevention Foundation , conducted a webinar for our community of supporters called “ Better Brain Health .”
Through our Hope For Armenia virtual fundraiser in May , we launched Teach For Armenia ’ s Nation-Builders school sponsorship program . Nation-Builders is an opportunity for committed individuals anywhere in the world to invest in the development of Armenia and Artsakh through education . By donating $ 5,000 a year for a period of two years , a Nation-Builder ensures that its school has a Teach For Armenia Teacher- Leader , access to technology , and a grant for a Student-Led Innovation Project . Donors receive a unique engagement experience and build a special relationship with a school community that includes year-round communications and a site visit .
Between March and December 2021 , we recruited nine Nation-Builders to sponsor 10 school communities in Armenia and Artsakh . Among them are our Board
