Alumni- Ambassadors
Teach For Armenia has designed pathways and special projects for Alumni- Ambassadors to continue developing professionally and remain engaged in education . Currently , we have four such pathways : Instructional-Leadership Pathway , Nonprofit Management Pathway , Social Innovation Pathway , and the Seroond School Leadership
Pathway . By giving our Alumni-Ambassadors the ability to learn and grow along these pathways , we seek to demonstrate the power of collective leadership and create hundreds of bright spots across the nation .
This year , we created the Instructional- Leadership Pathway as the first step toward school leadership for Alumni- Ambassadors . Currently , we have nine Instructional-Leaders living and working in communities in Armenia and Artsakh . Instructional-Leaders are placed in school communities as full-time coaches . In this role , Teach For Armenia trains them to
“ I always wanted a job through which I could help others , especially children . That dream became a reality when Teach For Armenia entered my life . I was a part of its very first cohort of Teacher-Leaders in 2015 . As a Teacher-Leader , there ’ s nothing I loved more than seeing the spark in my students ’ eyes . Today , the bonds I formed with my students and Teach For Armenia remain a big part of my life . In my current role as the Leadership Pathways Manager , I help Alumni- Ambassadors like myself stay connected to our movement .”
