are given the training and resources necessary to become transformational leaders in their classrooms , communities , and beyond . This creates impact today and in the long-term , as these diverse leaders continue to drive a movement for systemic reforms in education .
Our Teacher-Leaders also work to inspire the local community , leading by example and enabling community-led impact projects that create a more enabling environment for students to learn and grow .
We invest heavily to support their success as teachers and role models and also to foster a lifelong commitment to transformative action . Our intensive leadership development program is cultivating a generation of leaders whose leadership is formed by their classroom experiences . As they complete their two years and become part of our Alumni Ambassador movement , they will play a critical role in continuing the fight for nationwide reforms across all levels of our education system . These leaders strive to ensure that all our children have access to a quality , equitable education — ultimately working for the betterment of our country as a whole .
Our teachers are developing their students into proactive and academically engaged critical thinkers who are determined to create a better future for themselves and their communities . We are leveraging the critical mass of diverse leaders from our Alumni Ambassador network and the wider Teach For Armenia movement , as they work together to drive transformative and sustainable change through local and national leadership as well as increased community engagement — ensuring a better future for Armenia .
Despite the hardships and seemingly insurmountable obstacles along the way , we have remained resilient while pursuing our dream of a brighter future for Armenia . As our presence expands across the nation , we will continue with this same drive and commitment , working to transform not only the education system in Armenia but the development of the country as a whole .
