ARTSAKH EDUCATIONAL FORUM
Teach For Armenia
In October 2019 , in cooperation with the Ministry of Education of Artsakh , we organized the firstever Artsakh Education Forum . The forum brought together over 100 participants and stakeholders from the public sector including students , parents , teachers , principals , education experts , and Ministry representatives to set the foundation for the development of a new state education strategy . This forum was full of discussions on current issues and challenges faced by the Artsakh education sector and brainstorming sessions to find innovative and sustainable solutions .
The Artsakh Education Forum was a truly special event in the Republic ’ s history , not only because of its content but also its format for public policy discourse Forum was Minister Narine Aghabalyan highly acknowledged the role of TFA in Artsakh ’ s public education reforms efforts :

We appreciate the organization ’ s tremendous expertise , their innovation in teaching leadership , complex approach to the transformation of educational reforms , as well as the culture of participatory decision-making that we were able to pioneer together in Artsakh . Today we have 30 Teacher-Leaders working in remote villages of our country . They are not only educating our children — they are inspiring them to achieve their full potential . Additionally , they work on community impact projects which will lead to a future renaissance for our regions ”.
