transports us into the story that we all know and love . You ’ ll walk through the castle like Belle as she first experiences it ; eventually , a teacup will whisk you away on a tour through the castle .
THE IMAGINEERING Imagineers pulled out all the stops when it came to Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast . For me , the brilliance of the Imagineering is what makes this ride so iconic .
The Animatronics On the ride , you ’ ll meet Audio-Animatronic versions of Belle , the Beast , and almost every other central character from the animated classic . Their fluid movement makes each character appear as if they ’ ve jumped out of the film .
These characters give life to the attraction , making it the masterpiece that it is . When the Beast came out during my first encounter , I thought I was looking at a screen projection . Once I realized he was an Animatronic , my jaw nearly hit the castle ’ s stone floor .
Inside the Castle The indoor queue is enormous , but you won ’ t mind if the line moves slow . The amount of detail in the queue is staggering .

The queue keeps you immersed in the story . The servants are “ hiding ” as you wind through the halls and rooms of the castle . Some of these servants are Audio-Animatronics . If you pay attention , you may catch them when they think you aren ’ t looking . Listen closely , and you ’ ll hear whispers .
It ’ s an absolute joy winding through the halls , and trust me when I say this is a queue you ’ ll want to take your time in if you can .
The ride has standby , FastPass , and a Single Rider line . However , as of this writing , FastPass and Single Rider aren ’ t available . The only way to experience the attraction is by entering the “ Entry Request ” lottery in the official Tokyo Disney Resort app . I expect this will change in the future once travel to Japan has opened again .
The Ride Experience Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast is the second trackless ride inside Tokyo Disneyland Park . ( The first was Pooh ’ s Hunny Hunt , which was Disney ’ s first trackless ride system .)
Thanks to this Imagineering marvel , you ’ ll be whisked away in a teacup as part of the story . You ’ ll dance and spin through an 8-minute experience with iconic scenes from the animated classic , and none of them disappoint .
Each section takes you through a scene from the film , from the unforgettable “ Be Our Guest ” musical number to Gaston and the mob storming the castle . I feel like a child again every time I ride , with a smile as bright as Lumiere .
Without spoiling it too much , the “ death ” scene with the Beast is one of the best effects you ’ ll see on a Disney attraction . Once you get to the end , just like the film , you ’ ll hear a Japanese rendition of the classic Celine Dion song , “ Beauty and the Beast .”

French village to the final moments of the attraction , is a masterpiece . You ’ re immersed in the story the moment you enter the area . No other Disney Park in the world offers this level of immersion .
Fans of Beauty and the Beast , like myself , won ’ t leave disappointed . Imagineers show once again why they ’ re masters of their craft and why we ’ ll continue coming back .
It ’ s perfection from beginning to end , and it ’ s an absolute must .
WHY YOU NEED TO VISIT The entire experience , from the moment you step into the
