6. Do you have any recommendations or words of advice for someone who is trying to start their own fitness career? YES! Seek knowledge, especially free knowledge from people who have been doing it a long time and are already successful at it. Research the people you are learning from. Remember, you can’t teach what you don’t know, and you can’t lead where you don’t go, so seek to learn from those who have actually done what you want to do. Anyone can tell you how to apply to present at IDEA but if their application has never been accepted and they have never presented there, look for another mentor. There are a lot of mentoring companies out there that will charge you, which is industry standard, but I recommend you find someone who is motivated by your success, not your wallet, though they may charge you a small fee. No matter what level of instructor you are, read industry publications like IDEA magazine and join Reebok ONE (www.reebok.com/reebokone), which is free and features articles specifically for instructors and trainers written by 8 Reebok-Sponsored Athletes, including myself. Lastly, eat that elephant one bite at a time! Hart Ramsey says, “Entire galaxies can be created with the things I do not know.” 7. What is your go-to motivational cue? YOU ARE WORTH IT!! LeBARRE Trainings are in TN, GA, UT, CO, NV, CA, FL, and so many other places! Check out LebertFitness.com for more information!
