Casey has been very hardworking in planning and delivering basketball sessions in the Wider Achievement Programme alongside Mr Shore, Teacher of PE. Girls Rugby U15 Girls have done very well, considering that they are a young team in reaching the Brewin Dolphin Scottish Cup semi-finals. They were narrowly beaten in the semi-final by a deciding score at the end of extra time by a strong team from Hillhead, Jordanhill (which contained 8 Regional U16 players). They were a credit to the school and have maintained the school tradition of both the U15 and U18 squads having reached the Cup semi-finals every year since girls rugby started in the school. The U18 girls are due to play their semi-final against Murrayfield Wanderers on Sunday 2 March in Auchterarder. Hockey S3/4 Boys In mid February the S3/4 boys took part in an indoor hockey tournament at Perth Academy. The team had not had the opportunity to play hockey since December and lost their first game but then went on to win the second and draw the third. They finished joint third in the tournament.
