The Ski Trip ( pupil report ) This year ’ s ski trip from - 28 January to 4 February - to Alpe D ’ huez in France was a massive success . We had five one hour long ski lessons every day , amazing weather conditions and the chance to experience French skiing at its best . Starting off the week , there was a mixed bag of ski level abilities between everyone , ranging from complete beginners to advanced skiers , but by the end of the week everyone had definitely improved . We took part in different fun activities every evening , for example ice-skating , laser quest and bum-boarding , all of which were thoroughly enjoyable . A memorable aspect of the trip was the hats ; the clown hat ( given to people who had made a funny mistake ) and a new addition to the trip , the star hat ( given to people who showed improvement or good qualities ). Not even teachers were safe from the dreaded hats , for example Mr Banks ( see photo ). All in all , it was a brilliant week for both teachers and pupils , and we would recommend it to anyone thinking of coming next year .
