advocating for those whom it
involves. I’m really grateful for
the part.”
Dustin Davaldo (Cutting the
Cord) Dustin is very excited to
be making his TCR Underground
Festival debut as Fred in Cutting
the Cord. Typically a musical
theatre performer, Dustin has
had a blast cutting his teeth on
this clever, challenging, yet fun
piece. He has recently played
Anatoly in a concert version of
Chess, Jake in The Burnt Part
Boys, Cinderella’s Prince in Into
the Woods, and will soon be
performing as Sweeney Todd in
a concert version of Sweeney
Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet
Street. Dustin would like to thank
his director, Taylor, for casting
him and working with his crazy
schedule, and his wife Trudie,
who has been more supportive
of his stage endeavors than any
man deserves. “Enjoy the
festival!”
Clare Dieter (Playwright, GoodBye Glinda, I Put a Spell on You)
Born and raised in Iowa, Clare
has called Cedar Rapids home

teacher by day, Clare considers
her fulltime job coming home
to her two children, Maya and
Rowan. Recently, she started
to live by a successful friend’s
quote, “Set terrifying goals;
attack them with ferocity.”
Writing and acting after years
away from a stage, are being
attacked most ferociously.
Robyn R. Dickson (The Last
Rodeo) Robyn is the
Operations Coordinator at the
African American Museum of
Iowa. This is her first acting
project with the Underground.
“Thank you Cory for the referral
and the cast and crew of Rodeo
for making this an enjoyable
debut.”
Jeremy Eble (The Last Rodeo,
World of Lovelies) Jeremy has
been involved with TCR since
2011 and was last seen on stage
as Meyer “Wolfy” Woflsheim in
The Great Gatsby. This is his
second time appearing in the
Underground New Play Festival,
having played Henderson in
The Concentrated Masses last
season. His life’s ambition is to
become a famous Hollywood
actor without leaving Iowa. He
would like to thank his family and
