MEET THE CAST ALEX ANDERSON BURRS Alex is thrilled to return to the TCR stage. You may have previously seen Alex as Jamie in The Last Five Years, Dr. Madden/Dr. Fine in Next to Normal, or in the Studio Cabaret Series. Alex would like to thank his incredibly patient and wonderful wife (Hannah) and daughter (Margot). Thanks also to the directing team for the opportunity, and the cast for being so great to work with. He promises he is nicer in person. PETER “JUBIRIL” AWE MR. BLACK Jubiril is an actor of Nigerian descent and has been cast in other plays in town such as The Flick, Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Whose Life Is It Anyway?. As he embarks on his journey as a “full scale” performing artist, he hopes to find himself through the arts while also building himself up as a mentor. He would like to thank the cast and house for the amazing opportunity, wishing all the best. “One luv Jerry.” KAITLIN BYERS KATE Kaitlin/Kait couldn’t be more ecstatic to be playing the part of Kate – her first lead role here at TCR. While she and Kate were both born in the South, have the same first name, and self-identify as the “Life of the Party,” you’ll notice there are a few differentiators. Kait wants to thank WILD PARTY | theatrecr.org her husband, Craig, for always supporting her love for theatre and for having homemade dinners ready for her after each practice! MIGUEL DAVIDSON ENSEMBLE When asked, “What is your favorite thing to do?” Miguel would most likely say “Acting, singing, dancing, and drawing.” Miguel is excited to be in his fourth TCR show and fifth musical all together. If he had anyone to thank, it would be Carrie Fattig Tinkham. “She has really helped me discover who I am as a person and when all backs were turned, she was there with an open mind and helping hands.” LAUREN GALLIART DOLORES Lauren is thrilled to be returning to the TCR stage! Her last show at TCR was Legally Blonde in the role of Elle Woods. Previous Cedar Rapids works include time spent at The Giving Tree Theater in Fun Home (Medium Alison), Sense and Sensibility (Marianne), and Rabbit Hole (Izzy). Other favorite Roles include: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Olive), Hairspray (Amber Von Tussle), and Urinetown (Little Becky Two Shoes). MARJORIE GAST QUEENIE Marjorie is a junior Theatre Performance major at UNI, portraying roles such as the Witch from Into the Woods, Kassandra 29
