MEET THE PARTICIPANTS JESSICA ABDONEY THE NIGHT THE LIGHTS WENT OUT IN NASA This is Jessica’s first time acting in the Underground New Play Festival. Her last show was TCR’s production of The Crucible, as Mercy Lewis. She is so excited to share this hilarious show, and be a part of such a great cast! THERESA ALT THE COUNSELORS Theresa has been appearing on Eastern Iowa stages since 2001. Recent shows include Sense and Sensibility at Giving Tree Theater and A Christmas Story at TCR. When not on stage, you may find her writing a novel, playing the organ, dancing, or helping people get back on their feet, working as a physical therapist at Linn Manor. Theresa is thrilled to help bring a new script to life for the very first time. BRETT BORDEN THEODOSIA Brett is thrilled to be joining the Underground for the first time. By day, he works as a direct service professional for Abbe Health. He would like to thank his family for all their support! DIETRICH EBLE THE ALLEY BETWEEN 2ND AND 3RD STREET Dietrich is excited to make his theatrical debut as part of the Underground New Play Festival at FESTIVAL | theatrecr.org TCR. He has always liked going backstage and jumped at the chance to play a pigeon. When he’s not flexing his acting chops, he enjoys playing with his friends and annoying his sister. He’s on YouTube way too often, and if you ask nicely, he might let you subscribe to his channel. JEREMY EBLE THE ALLEY BETWEEN 2ND AND 3RD STREET/THE EXCEPTIONAL LITTLE DONKEY/I MARRIED A NUN Jeremy is ecstatic to be back in the Underground Festival as a playwright and director! This is his fourth year participating in the Festival, and his sixth season volunteering at TCR. He’s really looking forward to all of the new shows and can’t wait for audiences to see the work everyone has put into them. AMANDA FORMAN SUICIDE ANONYMOUS Amanda is an actor and playwright originally from Iowa City, IA. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Since moving to Chicago, Amanda has performed with several companies including Oak Park Festival Theatre (The Fair Maid of the West, To Kill a Mockingbird), Metropolis Performing Arts Centre (The 39 Steps), The Side Project Theatre (Lysistrata), Corn Productions (Off the Paddy Wagon), Fury Theatre 15
