EMILY REITER (Cathy)
Emily is elated to be appearing in
her first performance in the
Grandon Studio, having
previously performed on the main
stage at TCR in Into the Woods,
Shrek the Musical, and Mary
Poppins last season. Cathy Hiatt
is a dream role for her, and The
Last Five Years is one of her
all-time favorite musicals. When
she isn’t satisfying her theater
habit, Emily spends her days as
an Executive Assistant at
Geonetric, Inc., and enjoys
attending other theater or concert
performances (this season at TCR
is going to be amazing!),
movies, cheering on the Green
Bay Packers, and spending
time with her family and friends.

ALEX ANDERSON (Jamie)
Alex is so excited for this
opportunity to play the role of
Jamie in one of his favorite
musicals. A recent Cedar
Rapids transplant, he made his
TCR debut in February’s Rodgers
and Hammerstein Classics in
Concert!, after five years away
from the stage. When he is not
here at TCR, you can find Alex
hanging out with his wife,
Hannah, and puppy, Oscar,
reading, playing various sports,
or (if you are his boss) working
really hard as an attorney at
Lynch Dallas, P.C. Alex is very
grateful to have a wonderful and
understanding wife, and very
supportive family, friends, and
coworkers. “Thank you for
seeing the show!”
