meet the cast
JOE FRENNA
RICHARD BURBAGE
Joe is excited to take his first bow on
the TCR stage. The great passions
of his life are family, teaching, and
theatre. Living in Waverly with his
beautiful and talented family, wife
Ann and children, Sophie and
Joey, he also enjoys the tremendous
privilege of teaching English at
Waterloo East High. Joe is also
an actor, director, and aspiring
playwright.
LAUREN GALLIART
VIOLA DE LESSEPS
Lauren is very excited to be back on
the TCR stage! You may have seen
her previously at TCR in Andrew
Lippa's Wild Party (Dolores) or
Legally Blonde (Elle Woods). Other
regional productions include Noises
Off! (Brooke), Fun Home (Medium
Allison), Rabbit Hole (Izzy), and
Hairspray (Amber Von Tussle).
Lauren would like to thank Angie for
this opportunity, Jaimen, for running
lines wiht her, and Fred, for the tail
wags.
PEARL HALLMAN
SPOT
Pearl is tickled to be making her
stage debut at TCR! The proud
dog-ter of Cavan and Katie
Hallman, Pearl loves everyone,
everything, bones especially, and
most of all her vey own baby, Dash.
Thanks to her best friends in the cast
and crew, to Meg for cheering her
onstage and off, and to Angie for
making her dreams come true.
NICK HAYES
ROBIN/COURTIER
Nick, a Cedar Rapids native, has
spent the last eight years getting
his theater fix from the director's
chair at Kennedy High School, as
well as appearances with various
local improv groups. He is excited
to return to the TCR stage with this
talented and delightful cast and
production team. Nick would like to
thank CJ, his family, and friends for
their love and support.
BRADY HOBACK
PETER/COURTIER
This is Brady's first time on the TCR
stage. He most recently appeared
as Mr. Darcy in Pride & Prejudice
at Giving Tree Theater. He took a
wonderful TCR class last summer
and decided to be in at least one
play by this summer. Now on his
fourth, he is happy as a lark (or is
it a nightingale?). He thanks Angie,
Marty, David, Richie, Patrick, and
the kind, welcoming Cedar Rapids
theatre community.
