MEET THE CAST

Grant Blades (Declan) Grant
is very excited to be making his
TCR debut! Recently, he was
seen as The Son in Six Characters
in Search of An Author as well
as Manaechmus in The Brothers
Menaechmus at Kirkwood
Community College. Grant is
also the lead singer of the local
band, In The Attic. You can find

to Leslie, Janelle, and the cast
and crew of American Idiot!”
Russell Clayton (Gerard)
Russell was previously seen in
A Christmas Story and The Little
Mermaid at TCR. He is currently
attending school for Culinary
Arts and works as a server at
Red Robin. He also enjoys free
writing and arranging. Russell
would like to thank his family
for being so supportive through
these productions and his friends
for encouraging him to be more
involved at TCR.
Christopher Culver (Ben)
Christopher is a student in the
Iowa State Music and Theatre
programs, and is thrilled to be
returning to the TCR stage.

He has performed in many
ISU productions including Les
Misérables, Spring Awakening,
The Secret Garden, and The
Magic Flute. Along with
performing this summer, Chris is
also taking a course through ISU,
working at Nordstrom Direct,
and working on expanding his
audition material for a theatre
intensive in NYC in August. Chris
would like to thank his family,
friends, and coworkers for
encouraging him to audition and
supporting his self-discovery over
the course of this one of a kind
experience. “Enjoy the show!”
David Daugherty (Theo) This
is David’s debut at TCR and he
is so grateful for the opportunity
to work with such an amazing
cast. David has just finished his
first year at Columbia College
Chicago and will be returning
in the fall to start his sophomore
year. David would like to thank
his parents, sisters, and aunt
who play a huge part in his life
and a special shout out to his
high school drama director who
introduced him to musical theatre
and helped him along the way.
