Meet the Cast
Dylan Ascher (Flounder)
Dylan is nine years old and
beyond thrilled and honored
to be a part of this production
playing the part of Flounder with
this absolutely extraordinary
cast! Dylan would like to thank
Casey Prince, Becca Hauschild,
and Benjamin Schmidt for this
amazing opportunity. Dylan has
been in The Wizard of Oz, The
Music Man, Orchestra Iowa’s
Holiday Spectacular, and Cedar
Rapids Follies and has a genuine
love of performing. When he is
not singing and dancing, Dylan
enjoys time with his family and all
of his pals at Linn-Mar, and the
great friends he has made being
involved in theatre. Dylan would
like to thank TCR summer camps
for sparking his love of
performing when he was six
years old, Cameron Sullenberger
and Brian Glick for music lessons
and the wonderful experiences
he has had with Revival Theatre,
and his four amazing
grandparents who never miss a
show!
Erika Bailey (Mersister
Allana) Erika is beyond excited
to be in her second show at TCR!
She was last seen on this stage
in Les Misérables in 2014. She
just finished her first year at UNI
studying criminology, theatre,
and music, where she was also
given the opportunity to play
Joanne in Rent this past fall. She
would like to thank Casey, Ben,
Becca, her family, and her friends
for their love and support during
this process. “Enjoy the show!”
Melia Bohn (Kids Ensemble)
The Little Mermaid marks Melia’s
second dip into the TCR Lagoon,
and she couldn’t be more
excited. After her stint as Esther
Jane in A Christmas Story, she
became sure of something she’d
often suspected: As far as theatre
was concerned, she was hooked!
Melia hopes your visit under the
sea is as enchanting as it has
been for her and her castmates,
and that everyone finds a way to
cut loose tonight and experience
firsthand “why it’s hotter under
the water!”.
