TCR Playbills A Christmas Story, The Musical Playbill | 页面 19

Duane Larson (Narrator) Duane is thrilled to return to the main stage in A Christmas Story; ironically, he spent last Christmas in the Grandon as Crumpet in The Santaland Diaries (sort of an anti-Christmas Story). He has no idea what this could mean for next Christmas. He also has a play in this year’s Underground Festival that you should all go see. Duane would like to dedicate his performance to the memory of his Old Man, who also bought him a BB gun at a young age. And no eyes were shot out! Max Locher (Grover Dill/ Ensemble) Max goes to McKinley. He’s been in some shows. He is swag. He can run faster than you. If you would like to test that theory, he would gladly race you. Shelby Louviere (Ensemble) This is Shelby’s third time being here on TCR’s wonderful stage. She has enjoyed every minute of getting to bond and create some holiday theatre magic with a lovely cast and crew! A big shoutout and love to her family and friends, and to everyone else out there who have decided to make this show a part of their holiday festivities! Lucas Lowder (Flick/ Ensemble) Lucas Lowder is a 12 year old 7th grader at Regis Middle School. His past Theatre Cedar Rapids experience has been as a Munchkin in The Wizard of Oz, in An Evening with Rodgers & Hammerstein and The Music Man in Concert. Lucas also had his first film experience as The Leukemia Kid in The Summerland Project movie which was originally written for TCR’s Underground New Play Festival. Outside of TCR, Lucas has performed in The Follies and as Cain in Children of Eden. When not performing, Lucas plays tennis, the guitar and is in show choir. “A huge thanks to Leslie, Ben and Aaron for casting him and embracing his Flickness! And always a special thanks to dad, mom, and brother Ethan!” Aliya Musselman (Ensemble) Aliya graduated from Iowa State with a BFA in Graphic Design. After graduating, she interned in Orlando, FL with the Disney College Program. Recently, she’s volunteered backstage for The Great Gatsby, Mary Poppins, and Calendar Girls. She’s excited to perform in A Christmas Story: The Musical for her debut at TCR.
