●After Hour - Clarion Inn & Suites Westchase
　 5月11日晚間假葉德雲博士所經營的Clarion
Inn & Suites Westchase旅館舉辦After Hour活
動，當晚有副會長周政賢夫婦，前會長陳志
宏 、 王敦正 、 張世勳，多位理事和會友們，
駐休士頓辦事處林映佐副處長、休士頓華僑
文教服務中心莊雅淑主任、李美姿副主任等
人應邀出席，林副處長表示臺灣過去8年均未
缺席世界衛生大會，今年卻遲遲未收到邀請
函，實在令人遺憾，政府已向WHO表達強烈
失望以及不滿；中心莊主任雅淑表示，「健
康是人權，防疫不該有國界」，健康議題更
不有政治因素干擾，所有與會人士熱烈支持
聲援台灣加入WHA的活動。當天計有與會
貴賓以及本會會員百餘人參加，在豐盛點心
中，大家閒話家常，氣氛和樂歡愉。
Business Discussion & Announcement
1. M atters and issues discussed during last
month’s meeting are hereby approved by the
board.
2. President Report:
　 I want to say sorry that I missed last two months
meeting because I was out of town for business
trip. We are going to have our annual meeting
this Saturday. Hope we will all enjoy and have
fun in the party. One more thing, I will not be
candidate of TCC chairman next year because
I already accepted TCCNA general secretary
position if Kenneth Wu win the TCCNA
chairman election. It is a very good experience
being TCC chairman last year. We had lots of
activities and creative event. I hope those events
will keep going next year.
3. Committee Report:
　 ●  Treasurer: We don’t have any big expense this
month.
　 ●  Activity Committee: we will discuss in next
section.
4. Discussion.
　 ● 4.1 : 5/11/2017 After Hour review:
　 It was very successful after our party. We had
lots of old friends coming. Hope they will
participate more our events next year. Activity
committee will need to work more closely with
member who host the party. Like this time, we
don’t know there is financial speech in the party.
　 ● 4.2: AD list is assigned to board members.
　 M ing will took care New members, current
members information. Sam took care yearbook
articles. We will have some changes of food list
and extra fee will paid by TCC. Members don’t
need to pay extra fees. Willie and Jenny will
decorate the stage and background. We will have
new option for our TCC membership. It will be
$1000 for whole life TCC membership.
